Our Criminology Department is looking for a full time, permanent instructor. The position is slated to start January 1st, 2006. We're about 30 miles west of Vancouver, and 60 miles north of Victoria. The Criminology department offers a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, and a 2 year Diploma in Criminology.

The Department of Criminology is looking for University-College Professor for a full-time permanent
position commencing January 1, 2006. The successful candidate will teach upper and lower level courses in
criminological theory and research methods. Applicants must be comfortable using a wide range of
information technologies. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching, learning, and student
success through scholarship and institutional service. Successful candidates will participate in a wide range
of activities outside the classroom, including student support, institutional Faculty, and department
committee meetings and other initiatives, and professional activities in keeping with their disciplines in and
outside the institution. Successful applicants may also be required to teach courses at regional campuses in
Duncan and Powell River. Please send curriculum vitae, a statement of research interests, recent student

PhD in related discipline from an appropriately accredited institution. Must possess a valid BC driver's
