Sadly, this won't work anymore. The instructions Andi appended below refer to the invitation that was sent you you back in July. They have all expired now, meaning if you click on them, it won't work.
Googlegroups does remember the invitation was issued,however, and won't let me extend another to you. (I tried that over the long weekend.) So you have two choices now: (1) go through the process of getting a google groups id, then join the group or (2) send me a note asking to be put on the list. Most of you will find option (2) easier, and it really doesn't take all that much work on my end.
