Our department webpage (which is so old that it existed before the Internet) is being redesigned, and I'm looking for ideas in regard to structure (as opposed to graphics and such).  Anybody like to supply the URLs of department sites that they think are particularly good? *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *     I don't know that ours is especially noteworthy, but you are welcome to take at look at http://www.hanover.edu/soc/home.html.    I do think we include some things that others do not.  The Sociology Department at Southwestern University (Texas) has done a lot of work on creating an effective student-oriented website.  I organized an ASA poster session about a year ago on Departmental Student Handbooks and websites, and I recall that their website was especially well done.   Keith   *  *  *  *  *  *  *  *     Keith A.
