Legacy admissions into college seems to work for my students. They can quickly grasp that groups of people who were unlikely to go to college are affected disproportionately. Then we move on to more complicated -- and for them, conflicted -- examples, like height/weight requirements for police & fire fighters, penalities for crack vs. powdered cocaine, etc.
