everyone, my name is Erin, and I am new to the group. I am

college student in Ohio, and I'm 19 years old. I'm taking

anthropology class. One of our assignments is to observe an
online
group with professional interests. I'll be observing the
norms,
dynamics, and "atmosphere" of the group. I'll observe
the
communication between the group members and will also communicate
with
the members. As an anthropology student, my ultimate goal
is to learn
more about a group of people, so I will be as unbiased
and open-minded
as possible throughout the observation period.
While
I do not teach sociology, I will major in the subject.

naturally, I'm interested in all things sociology.
