Peter Meiksins

Cleveland State University.  The Department of Sociology invites applications for a tenure track appointment at the Assistant Professor level (for candidates with a Ph.D. at the time of appointment) or Instructor level (for those who are A.B.D.) in the area of Social Inequality/Race, Class, and Gender beginning August 21, 2006.  Teaching load is two courses (8 credits) per semester.  Send a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, one sample of written work, evidence of teaching proficiency, and three (3) letters of reference to Chair, Social Inequality Search Committee, Department of Sociology, Cleveland State University, Cleveland, OH  44115.  Applications will be reviewed beginning November 1 and will continue until the position is filled.  Cleveland State University is a major public urban university enrolling 16,000 students, with many opportunities for funded, field-based research.  Cleveland State University is an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer.  Minorities, women and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
