I don't mean to hype my own text, but there are about 250 non-lecture teaching strategies available on-line at Wadsworth Publishers for teaching sociology of religion.  You would need a password form the publisher to get to the test banks, but I don't think you would need such a password for the teaching strategies.  Most of those would be useable with other sociology of religion texts (although I obviously organized and wrote them to go with my own text). Go to the Wadsworth webpage and look for Religion in Sociological Perspective.  There will be links to the instructor’s guide material.  If that doesn’t work, send me a private e-mail and I can send you some materials as an attachment.

 

Also, the ASA Teaching Resources Center has a monograph on Teaching the Sociology of Religion with many good ideas from some very creative people.  Go to:
