In the coming weeks, I will be covering campaign finance in one of my courses. In the past, I have shown Frontline's 1996 program entitled So You Want to Buy a President because it does an excellent job of showing the role campaign contributions play in elections and what those dollars buy. However, the video has become rather outdated, and some of my current students don't even remember the '96 election! Do any of you have some suggestions for more current documentaries or videos that I might try? I would also be interested in films on how lobbyists influence the polictical process. Thanks!
