Rider University. The Department of Sociology invites
applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the level of
Assistant
Professor, beginning September, 2006. The ideal candidate should have
demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: Race, Law and Society, or Gender, as well as Policy
Research analysis. Candidates should be
committed to excellence in teaching undergraduates and show promise of
ongoing
scholarship. The applicant is expected
to hold the Ph.D. at the time of appointment.
Rider University
is located in Lawrenceville, New
Jersey, just south of Princeton,
and is conveniently located between New York City
and Philadelphia. Normal teaching load is six sections each
academic year.
