As I had promised,  here are the results of the survey.  I'd like to
thank all of you who took the time to complete the survey.

1.) How long have you been using the Teaching Sociology newsgroup?
An average of 4.2 years,  with a range from 3 months to 10 years.
2.) How many times per week do you use the Teaching Sociology
newsgroup?
3 responders did not specify;  An average of 6 times per week,  with a
range from 1 time per week to 7 times per week.
3.) How many minutes do you spend posting messages and reading messages
each time that you visit Teaching Sociology?
6 responders did not specify;  An average of 15.7 minutes,  with a
range from 1 minute to 60 minutes.
4.) Have you ever made contact with other Teaching Sociology members
via telephone,  in person,  or postal service?

contact,  while 33.3% have not.
Sex:  52.6% of the responders are male;  47.4% of the responders are
female.
Age:  45.2 years old is the average age of the responders,  with a
range from 23 years old to 65 years old.
Ethnicity: 1 responder did not specify;  otherwise,  100% are white.
Marital status:  3 responders did not specify;  68.8% of the responders
reported being married,  18.8% of the responders reported being single,
 and 12.5% of the responders reported being divorced.
Education level:  52.6% of the responders reported a Ph.D. level,
26.3% reported a Master's level,  and 21.1% reported an ABD level.
