Freakonomics has the (popularized) version of Steven Levitt's research
on the economics of low-level drug sales. An excerpt ("Why Do Drug
Dealers Live With Their Moms?") is found at
http://www.freakonomics.com/ch3.php

The full paper "Economic Analysis of a Drug-Selling Gang's Finances" is
at http://www.freakonomics.com/pdf/DrugGangFinances.pdf

Hello: I have a student who is interested in doing a project on crime

(especially drug sales) as work (for a Sociology of Work class). I've

pointed her at the Adlers, obviously, but does anyone have any more
current suggestions for resources?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Peter
