Our most recent NCA accreditation review suggested that our university (U of Akron) adopt a standard university-wide course evaluation instrument. At present, some of our colleges and departments (including soc) use the IDEA forms from Kansas State, while other colleges/departments contend that these forms are too expensive.
We have a committee working on creating our own system, but I thought that it might be worthwhile to see what other departments are using, particularly if it might help us not having to re-invent the wheel.
I'd really appreciate learning what happens in your department and on your campus. Does your campus use a standard instrument? If so, is it locally-developed, the IDEA or a similar form? Either way, it would be great if you could share the form or the requisite information on how to get it.
In an attempt not to clutter the listserv, it may be easier to send things directly to me: [EMAIL PROTECTED] If anyone is interested, I'd be happy to share a summary of the responses.
Many thanks.
