Western Illinois University currently has two searches underway. We will be 
interviewing candidates at the ASA meetings in Montreal. THose who are unable 
to interview are invited to apply as well.

Position 1. "Race/Class/Gender & Quantitative Research Methods" Assistant 
Professor of Sociology Position

Position 2. "Deviant Behavior & Quantitative Research Methods" Assistant 
Professor of Sociology Position

Western Illinois University is a regional state university, with approximately 
12,000 students. The Department of Sociology and Anthropology offers the B.S. 
and M.S. degrees in sociology.

Candidates interested in scheduling an interview at the ASA meetings should
