| Mike,
I teach high school sociology and I am in a couple of different high school sociology groups. If you or anyone is interested, I would be happy to work with you on researching my cohorts. I am the high school rep. for the Illinois Sociological Association and I am also a member of Chicago Area Sociology Teachers which is an informal group of roughly 20 high school sociology teachers. I teach 4 sections of sociology to juniors and seniors at a large competitive suburban Chicago public high school.

I'm trying to get a better sense of sociologists' current involvement in studying high school courses and teachers, and I'd really appreciate hearing about the research projects that you or any of your colleagues might be in the middle of. Please respond privately. If there's any interest, I'll be happy to summarize the current projects for the list. Thanks in advance!
