I saw “The Poverty Trap” on CNN this past
weekend where Bill Clinton quoted some statistics on where I tax dollars go (If
I remember right it was 30% of the budget went to the military and .1% to
international aid). He also said that if we increased federal aid to .7
percent of the budget we could end world poverty. Does anyone know where I
could verify this information? Or more generally, where I can get stats what
percentage of the budget goes to military (and other expenditures?). Thanks
