For this month's suite of retrospectives within Discovery[1], I had the teams experiment with a "five finger" retrospective format, which I have documented on wiki[2]. It is based on the 2-5-1 storytelling [3] system that Joel brought into our vision, but has a couple changes.
We had previously tried something similar within the TPG with mixed results. But it seems to have gone well with Discovery. We're going to try it at least one or two more times before deciding whether to continue using it, or switch to something else.
