I was a rep for Prepaid Legal for a while. That didn't work too well because I'm much more of an engineer than a salesman. But, it's a good product. They have a truckers' plan, so I learned a little background about the industry. I've forgotten a lot of it now, but I guess the truckers are under tremendous conflicts of interest. Whereas the public and the lawmakers want them to run a set number of hours and get some actual sleep and stay safe; the industry and the clients want them to deliver ever more stuff ever faster and ever cheaper. I've heard working for some of the major chain trucking firms is like working in a rolling slave shop, and that some of them essentially say to the drivers, run these long hours and forge your logbook (highly illegal) or lose your job. If your daughter is an independent trucker, hopefully she can work around some of those pitfalls. Best of luck to her.
