Yeah, the only sucky thing about the Mazda 3 is that it takes crawling
under the car and removing 7 nuts and two fasteners before you even start
changing the oil. So far I've just let strangers do it.  I am not that
sensitive to driving parameters, but so far I haven't crashed it. And I am
a notably bad driver.
