Hi all,

I'm doing research on who has the best warranties for amd ati gpu's. I've looked at xfx, sapphire, msi, asus, gigabyte, diamond, powercolor, and his. As far as I can tell, only asus, msi, and gigabyte have 3 year warranties. One forum post said that those also only need a serial number to rma something. I know that's true for msi because I've rma'd some of their cards. They didn't require proof of purchase.

Can anyone confirm this for gigabyte and asus?

Does anyone else offer a 3 year warranty?

Any help is appreciated.

Sincerely,

Ron

Don't have experience with GPUs but generally if someone gives you warranty returns without proof of purchase, they use the date of manufacture for the start of the period. If a product sits on the shelf for a year before being sold, you lose that year.

Jim.
