Hi All,

I have some light scratches on the plastic outer (caller ID) screen of my cell
phone, an lg env3 vx9200. I'm trying to figure out how to remove them.

If you have any knowledge on this topic, please share. I've come across a
couple of posts on blogs related to wet sanding the surface with finer and
finer sand paper, all the way up to 2000 grit, then using polishing compound.
The idea of water, sandpaper, cream, and cell phones together does make me a
bit nervous.

Do you know of any ADDITIVE rather than SUBTRACTIVE way to do this. It seems
like I should just be able to wipe some epoxy or something on it, squeegee it
off, and be done. Of course, I don't want to dissolve the screen or craze it
and make it unusable. The screen is actually below a plastic lens.

I am really looking for methods that are known to work, as opposed to something
that is thought to work.

Any advice is appreciated.

Sincerely,

Ron

(PS - If you email me and don't get a quick response, you might want to
call on the phone. I get about 300 emails per day from alternate energy
mailing lists and such. I don't always see new email messages very quickly.)
