I have a bash script floating around that I used a while back to do just this. 
It basically tested the default route Dsl line 1 and if it didn't return it 
would change the default route to the the Comcast route 2. 

It worked well and tested for 3 ping returns and was fairly adaptable. You 
could probably whip one up but I will pass it along if I can find the script.
