You can actually write on the board anytime you want with your own
finger too.  Just take out one of the pens.  If you lose a pen, just
cover the sensor with paper and then move the paper when you want that
color.

We keep our boards a little lower for early elementary students.  We
typically have a pointer with a finger at the end or a tennis ball  for
high to reach places..

I generally mount the boards to keep the "chalk tray" at the same height
as those of the "real" chalk/white boards...

The teachers seem to like it that way.
