Anyone have thoughts on installing Exchange 2010 on an Windows AD 2008
server. This is currently my only Windows 2008 server and I really
wanted to run AD on it along with Exchange. I currently am running AD
on my 2003 Exchange Server.

TechNet recommends the following:
For security and performance reasons, we recommend that you install
Exchange 2010 only on member servers and not on Active Directory
directory servers. However, you can't run DCPromo on a computer running
Exchange 2010. After Exchange 2010 is installed, changing its role from
a member server to a directory server, or vice versa, isn't supported.
