Nevermind, I found the issue. It always helps to plug in the correct cable into the correct port. J

I am going from my layer 3 switch to the layer 2 to another layer 2. I am trying to set up a separate vlan on one of the ports coming from the second layer 2 to the last one where the device is. I know that the second layer works with the vlan as I have devices in it that work just fine. The third one doesn't detect the vlan I am trying to put in. All of the other ports are the workstation vlan that have been working fine, the workstation vlan is separate from my regular workstation vlan as the third switch is in a different building. I shouldn't need to put in the vlan into each of the switches right? So if I have Vlan 190 set on the layer three and the port is set on the next two switches vlan 190 should go back to the layer 3, correct? The ports are set as trunk ports that have switch port access to a specific vlan. All of the switches are cisco.
