Ok I'm trying to understand what it is you ultimately want to happen. You want GApps for ed. OK. But you do NOT want any mail to go there? Ultimately where do you want the mail for each domain to go?

The only problem with that is, I don't think the users will be able to remember all of that to sign in to Google Apps. Hopefully all of this makes sense.
