Ok... so, last week at the Moodle conference, I learned how to tie activities in Moodle to "Outcomes". Outcomes can be whatever you want, and probably the most useful "Outcome" would be the state standards.

I was well on my way toward importing the IL standards into a format that could be used by Moodle. Now, I read that ISBE just adoped new standards... so there goes that all that work out the window.

Is anyone conducting local assessments, where you actually tie the questions to specific standards? How are you getting along? Will you be re-doing the assessment to connect it with the Common Core standards that ISBE recently adopted. http://www.corestandards.org/the-standards

Do any of our current state assessments give you the granularity to nail down that a specific student is short on Standard XYZ? Rather than just Meets vs Not Meets in Math/Reading?

Thanks! It's been awhile since I messed with this stuff, so I'm muddling my way through.

If I setup a database, does anyone have a student worker that we could set to copy/paste the new standards into a format that we can use... rather than these darn pdf files?

Thanks,
