Here's what happens when the power is shut off completely. My battery backups flip over to battery power and then after about 20 minutes all of my servers shut down. When the power is turned back on, all of my servers come back on. There is nothing I can do to convince anyone that I need new battery backups to replace the APC smartups 1000xls's that I have now. Nor is there any way I can convince them I need central air, not unless a server goes down due to heat and they realize it's going to cost them more for new server(s). I don't know anything about how to put in ductwork and besides that I don't have the budget to do it. I'm just going to have to cope with it like I have for the past 3 years.
