Thanks for all the suggestions on how to fix the print spool problem
with our HP clj 3600. Using the HP 3500 series drivers seem to work.
Yesterday the District
bookkeeper told me the all her printers were gone! The print spooler had
stopped. The same symptoms as the HP 3600n but she has a HP LJ 4015n
printer and a Sharp MX M620n copier networked to her machine (no HP
3600n) and all were working just fine for many months. I fixed her
problem by doing a System Restore to August 11, 2010. All was good
again. I did remove some printers that she did not use ( HP 2000c and a
HP 4000). I am thinking that either HP or MS did an update on her
machine that caused the problem. Any comments or thoughts?????? Have a
good start to a fine school year to all.
