To be fair, read down the page a bit, Oracle hasn't upgraded their DB for
Apple and I guess that seems to be the issue.  According to Wikipedia 11g
came out in 2007.  Not knowing the issue, if they haven't updated Oracle in
3 years on the Mac environment I cannot really blame them if they decide to
stop supporting it (if that is the case that the time is what it is).
