Perfect, never thought about that. Guess that's why we have the list. :)

What about just disabling the Realtek Audio device altogether if the intent is
to always use the USB Sound device?

Subject: [tech-geeks] Smartboard USB speaker

Hi all,

I have a situation with some Smartboard speakers. When I change it USB Sound
device in Audio Properties it always changes itself back to Realtek Audio
Device? It works fine for the local admin? How can I fix this? Hopefully
minus making the user local admin.

Thanks
