We have NEC projectors that after 100 hrs of use tell you to clean the filter. We had a classroom that never submitted a ticket and after around a 1000hrs the bulb went out only 50% through it's life....possibly due to dirty filters, who knows right?
I sent out the premature end of life story as a reminder for everybody to submit clean filter tickets. I did not name names or classrooms. The 2 teachers that teach in there were pissed beyond belief that I sent that story out telling me everybody would know who it was and they don't need to called out like that and that I should come to them personally with that type of scolding. I still don't get that one. People will only know if you tell them was my response, they said, no, they'll know. Really??
