I found one for Windows – it’s Tiff & PDF Page Counter – It will give you the page count and the keystrokes (of course, if it’s been scanned that won’t work), but unfortunately, it doesn’t count just the number of PDF documents, but I guess with windows you could just search for .pdf and get the number. On one of our windows machines we have 8746 pages of PDF files. (Yikes!)
