Just got a confirmation call from Skyward - the SIS dump is NOT working. Their
programming staff is looking at it and hopefully it will turn out to be a minor
fix for which a patch can be released later today.

The notes that appear on the page where you download will say whether or not
users have to be off the system. Typically they need to be off for major
release updates and PMP's (in fact Skyward techs recommend rebooting servers
before starting the process), but not for addendums.
The one that came out last night, though, that was supposed to allow SIS dumps,
didn't work for me - every single student was returned with "wrong number of
data elements" errors. Waiting to hear back from Skyward to see if I missed a
step somewhere or if the program still isn't working.

Silly Skyward question. Should I have everyone off the system when I run the
Skyward Addendum Updates? I've always waited until the weekends to run my
Skyward updates, but since they went to the more frequent updates, I'm thinking
I should just run them as soon as they come in, but don't want to have to kick
everyone off to run them.
