Yes, it is dedicated, sits next to my projection tv, and my video card has an S-Video output. Newer systems might be able to do an HDMI. Video out is terrible on a large tv, the svideo is good.

It is an AMD Athlon 64, K8N Neo MB, 2GB ram (I think) and a Hauppauge PVR-150 tuner. Nothing fancy or new, I’ve been using it for a few years and it still worked, just upped the OS. All I have added is some additional codecs.
