File storage? What kind of files? How big? Who needs to access? Since you are running IIS and Server 2003, have you considered Microsoft Sharepoint 3.0?
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsserver/sharepoint/bb400747.aspx I am told SharePoint plays very nicely with Moodle. http://www.educationlabs.com/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=21 Even if Moodle is to top-heavy for this application, the price is right. You could check WordPress and / or Joomla as well. All three applications are PHP/MySql applications that will run on IIS. ______________ Sincerely, Ron Egolf, MCSE Network Analyst, Area IV LTC 217-893-1431 (O) 217-841-4311 (C) reg...@area4.k12.il.us -----Original Message----- From: tech-geeks-boun...@tech-geeks.org [mailto:tech-geeks-boun...@tech-geeks.org] On Behalf Of Russ Gowin Sent: Tuesday, September 28, 2010 10:54 AM To: 'Tech-Geeks Mailing List' Subject: [tech-geeks] Filebox web storage or something similar I'm looking for a web-based file storage system to put on my IIS server. I know of Filebox, but as far as I know it's only for Linux systems. I don't want to use FTP and I really don't need all of the features of Moodle right now. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
