We've been buying Epson DC10's for $395 and the teachers love them. I am very interested in these HoverCams.

The HoverCams connect to the computer via USB and get power from the computer - no AC adapter. You run their software, etc.

The Epson connects via VGA (with a pass through if needed) and is very easy to use. SD slot and can "play" slideshows from SD and take pictures to SD.

We will probably get a couple of the Hovercams to test.

Two hundred? Niiiice. I had a teacher request one and went to price out an Elmo. Walked in, saw the price, tipped my hat, turned around, walked out. -Eric

OK. I found it. It is a HoverCam. I remember seeing them in
many of the education magazines that crossed my desk this past
    month. $199.95.

I could have sworn that over the past two months I have seen
ads for a simple document camera for under $300. I didn't
need to order any document cameras at the time so I thought,
"That's nice.", and moved on. Now I need to order some
document cameras and, though we are happy with the Epson DC10
cameras that we are using now, I would like to find that
camera for which I saw the ad but I can't think of the name of
        it. (Damn, I'm getting old.)

        Can anyone help?
