yes, family pack for me find my phone works nicely and does find the device attached - the drawback is the phone needs to be assigned to 1 member of the family and not the family general. Meaning, if your phone is attached to you and your spouse's to her account, you cannot locate your spouse's phone without knowing her password. In my family, I synced all the devices to my account so that I can log in and see where everything is.
When you create the family account, you can pull in other accounts into your family account. Calendars and Contacts: individuals can have their own calendars, and depending on how you want to manages, they can be shared back and forth. I have found it easier to create multiple accounts in Settings for calendars (home/work) and have my wife connect to my account, on her phone.
