I stumbled across a knowledge database website which looked like it
had some interesting science videos on chloroplast formation, etc.,
and might be useful for research in the future. E.g.

http://qwickstep.com/search/plant-cell-chloroplast.html

It recommended a Download / Play Now option . . . and wanted to
install some kind of XVid codecs (I think it must have been 3rd party
ad since it changes when I go back to that URL, but students wouldn't
be able to figure that out) which in turn came up with something
inappropriate: (suggestive pictures with links perhaps to things more
inappropriate, e.g. http://mgid.com/mg2778.html -- AND why didn't
OpenDNS block this?).

Any suggestions on how can I separate the bad from the good if I want
students to benefit from some meaningful science resources?
