Not a regular visitor to our neighbor to the north, but the past couple of times I've been there have been very pleasant. The customs personnel in Canada were very friendly and hospitable. Coming back to the states, though, the US customs personnel were rude and unwelcoming. Really, my only issue with Canada was their VAT, but even then, the exchange rate was favorable enough to soften the impact.
