Windows Sharepoint Services might be worth looking at, if you have a server for
it.

We just switched over to WordPress and enabled the network blog feature in 3.0.
It's still in development, but the blog part of each page is used by the
building principals to make announcements, and on the district page we can use
it for emergency closings, etc.

We have an announcement page with news. We put out a small publication each
week that has a letter from the principal and we post that too, so yes, kind
of. It isn't a blogspot or wordpress type of blog though.

Geeks:

Does anyone’s district have an official blog? Our superintendent is wanting to
start one (a general district blog, not just a superintendent’s blog), and I’m
looking for examples from other districts as to how to lay it out. If anyone’s
district has one, would you mind sending me a link to it (on- or off-list)?

Thanks in advance,
Aaron
