Personally, when I get a drop everything and do it now kind of thing with
little or no direction, I like to apply a little creativity to the situation.
Make some kind of cacophonous blurred composite of all six streams, and dub
some clips from the Beatles White album over the audio. "Number 9... Number
9.... Number 9..."

It may (or may) not teach them an important life lesson. But it will be a
relaxing way to end your day. ;)

Subject: [tech-geeks] video editting rant

Came back from lunch today to find a video camera on my desk with a note
saying, "here's the video we recorded to be played next week. Please edit and
put on the server." How am I suppose to know what to edit?? There's 6 clips
filmed today on this camera. I have no idea what goes where. Arggg.
