The codes after 5/6/10 should only be on this list:
http://isbe.net/sis/pdf/race_code11.pdf

All other codes are retired.  When you look up a student you will see their
race codes are all "retired white", "retired black" and so on.  You need to
convert all race codes from pre 5/6 to post 5/6 codes above.

Things get more interesting at the Fed level since there is no
Hispanic/Latino code.  I remember hearing something about this on NPR that
Latinos did not want to be Hispanic, MexAM, DR,PR and so on and vice versa.
They could not come up with a single code so there is no code.  Ask your
Supt which code of the allowed Fed codes to change this group into.
