Could be an issue with your AV software. If you are using CA, it has a check
box to disable saving to network drives. This is prevented by the AV setup on
the workstation. Took us a while to find it when we'd get labs that would
allow us to save to the network storage.
Just a shot in the dark.

Subject: [tech-geeks] Office 2k7 vista won't save to a network drive.

I have a computer that won’t save to a to a mapped network drive.
When I try it says : There has been a network or file permission error. The
Network connection may be lost.

I can drag and drop to the same location, and I can save to the location as
long as I am not using an office 2k7 program.

When searching the problem it seems to be somewhat common , but no common fix.

My win-xp computers with Office 2k7 work fine.

I have tried deleting the offline files and turning offline files off. (No
help)

I was kind of hoping maybe someone has had this problem and found something
that fixed it, to save myself some time trouble shooting.

Thanks for any help!
