A lot of the sites I am reading are drooling over being able to dump NAT,
that was a quick add-on to IPv4 later in the game. Going back to having a
real internet address for every device will be interesting.

As we are game developers here we will have to learn how to develop online
gaming in an IPv6 world, so our infrastructure will need to handle it too.
Why couldn't I be a few years closer to retirement.

But, Really the only time you have to worry is if you go out of the FW.
There can be converters present the will convert a 6 to a 4 and a 4 to 6 if
necessary. I think down the road, years down the road that all will be gone
to IPv6 because of the unlimited number supply, but also because it will be
a permanent number for every piece of equipment.

No more DHCP, etc. All items will come out with it's own IPv6 for life.
