Last year we switched to Lumen and for the first time had our K-4 teachers entering the students grades on the computer. They were a little skeptical, but we initially had them do the actual setup of the objectives for the report card. Once they saw that they could have the same thing they did on paper, they were 100% behind it. We use Exceeds, Meets, Below for grading, but that is a rather arbitrary scale. It could be satisfactory, unsatisfactory or anything else. I think our first grade is also as extensive as the kindergarten with objectives. Anyway, it all ended up printing in a nice booklet form and they were all happy because it took them less time to fill everything out. If you want a copy of our kindergarten setup, I'll send it.
