I use a chroot where a NetBSD i386 userland is set inside my
NetBSD amd64. I built wine from that chroot so I have Wine in
32 bits only. I applied your patch and tried to run winecfg out
of chroot using LD_LIBRARY_PATH to point at the 32 bits libs in
the chroot but...

i386_set_ldt: Invalid argument
Did you reconfigure the kernel with "options USER_LDT"?

Obviously I did.

What did you try and what result did you have ?

I tried the normal 64bit sysarch.

I know you already told me a few days ago that Wine is chrooted in a 32bit
environment, but I wasn't sure whether somehow there would be a 64bit Wine
performing set_user_ldt calls while emulating a 32bit application.

It should be solved now (see my mail to coypu).
