That's interesting.  Dunno what it means though.

though not so much as your server:

My mail/web/ssh/dns server has very few errors (6 total) with an uptime
of 247 days.

The dom0 for the mail server, with the same uptime, has zero errors, but
it mostly does just SSH and NTP, as well as being dom0 with LVM
partitions for the domUs.


I've never seen any problems like those you report with processes stuck
in fstchg.   Perhaps the process that gets stuck initially doesn't hang
forever, but does somehow cascade to causing other processes to get
stuck.

I used to have lots of "unclean" SSH terminations, though I've mostly
fixed those about 6 months or so ago with fixes to turn off TCPKeepAlive
and to use generous ClientAlive* and ServerAlive* settings.  I have some
remote logins lasting more than a month now.
