I don't know which list this really belongs on. I've stumbled over the fact that example/vanilla configuration files for base programs seem to be inconsistently spread across /etc (thus, the etc set) and /usr/share/examples (thus, the misc set).
Most (of those I've inspected) are in /etc, rtadvd.conf is in examples only, and postfix is in both of them. Is there any hidden (to me) scheme behind that?
