Hi Geeky friends !! I just purchased a Seagate 160GB SATA Hard Drive. It connects to the Power Supply ( 400 Watts , PowerSafe ) using a SATA Power cable adapter.
The problem is : Whenever I connect the HDD nad press the power switch on button the PC refuses to boot up there is a momentary spin of the CPU fan but after that everything stops. As soon as I disconnect the SATA Hard Drive from the power ( and leave the ATA Cable connected ), witch off and switch on the power supply the PC boots. I am using an ASUS P4P 800 SE mother borad...
