I am not certain what you are asking. If XP is installed there is nothing to
do. If you mean that you have an XP disk and a machine that you want to
install it on, either fresh or upgrade, just boot with the CD. With the
machine turned on put the CD in the drive then reboot. You just select the
option that fits what you are trying to do. But if you do not have an
earlier version of Windows installed or an install disk, OR XP is the non
upgrade version then you won't be allowed to install the OS.
